Nitesh is just 12 years old and has been 100% blind since birth. He has never seen his mother’s face, never watched the sunrise, and never played freely like other children. For Nitesh, the world has always been complete darkness.
While other children go to school, play with friends, and dream about their future, Nitesh spends his days struggling with a life he never chose.

Every day, Nitesh’s mother silently wipes her tears as she watches her child suffer. Their family lives in extreme poverty. Sometimes they don’t even have two proper meals a day.
Their small mud house is broken, covered only with plastic sheets to protect them from rain and heat. They cannot afford proper food, medical care, or education for Nitesh.
